I experienced high quality teaching and support even though I was at a community college, and this made my transition to the U.S. easier. Access to counselors and the STEM center has enhanced my educational experience. The small class size helped me work closer with my professors which was helpful.

Major: Computer Science, Transferred to UC Berkeley. Testimonial: \"As a student at De Anza, I had multiple resources to help me plan out my educational experience. There are counselors specifically assigned for international students who are familiar with the education pattern followed at the student’s home country and make the transition smooth. De Anza also has a dedicated team of tutors who work alongside professors to ensure the students succeed in their majors. I also have had the chance to gain firsthand leadership experience as the Vice Chair of De Anza Student Government’s Finance Committee. I was also able to share my passion for Computer Science as the President of the Women in Computer Science Club. I’d highly recommend joining De Anza to anyone who would like to pursue their higher education in United States.

I have been studying at Foothill for three years, and it has been a phenomenal experience. I have met new people with different backgrounds almost daily, enhancing my creativity. Also, the academic resources were unlimited at Foothill, and all of the faculty supported international students. I can say that I would not have been admitted to UCLA without their help. By being part of the ISP staff, I developed communication skills, creativity, and leadership.
